Jaime is a Salvadoran-Canadian Bitcoin educator and leads the Canadian Full Node for Mi Primer Bitcoin. Additionally, he is a writer and contributor to Bitcoin Magazine, focusing on Bitcoin adoption in El Salvador. As a member of the over 3 million Salvadoran diaspora who were forced into exile as political refugees in the 1980s due to the civil war, or in the 1990s due to gang violence and lack of opportunities, their contributions to El Salvador exceed $6 billion annually, accounting for as much as 23% of its GDP.

He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and has studied Anthropology. Outside of his contributions to the Bitcoin community, he serves as a Director of Customer Insights, where he leads a team of researchers conducting statistical analyses, consumer focus groups, and in-depth interviews to understand customer needs and behavior.
